This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Advanced Degree Candidates at Science and Technology Reinvention Labs. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03 (GS-9/11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1. Knowledge of and experience in turbine engine engineering, manufacturing and associated system failure modes (ie. fatigue, corrosion, creep, oxidation); 2. Knowledge of and experience performing with safety, reliability, and risk assessment of turbine engine component failure modes; 3. Knowledge of and experience in turbomachinery structural analysis, testing, and component lifting methods to evaluate operating conditions w/ emphasis on utilization of data analytics; 4. Experience in Engineering project management and leading teams; 5. Ability to research, organize, and analyze technical data, new systems concepts, and complex engineering proposals for aircraft turbine engine systems; and 6. Ability to communicate orally and in writing and present conclusions to the program manager and senior leadership.
