Description:
You will serve as an AEROSPACE ENGINEER in the Air Systems Group, Air Vehicle Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-9/11) grade level or (DP-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:(1) A working knowledge of the structural design, development and testing process for aircraft and associated weapon systems.
(2) Knowledge and application of structural analysis techniques used for aircraft design.
(3) Evaluation of proposed structural designs to determine strengths and weaknesses.
(4) Provision of technical expertise to stakeholders, customers, and higher authorities on structural integrity issues; and
(5) Liaison with others to ensure that Program needs are addressed.
