Description:

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY GENERAL, ELECTRICAL, COMPUTER, ELECTRONICS or AEROSPACE ENGINEER in the Missions Systems Group, Avionics Engineering Department, of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09/11 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional GENERAL, ELECTRICAL, COMPUTER/ELECTRONICS OR AEROSPACE ENGINEER performing duties such as: 1) Demonstrating working knowledge of ground testing and in-service engineering for aircraft and associated weapon systems; 2) Planning, organizing, and directing test and evaluation activities in the area of Electronic Warfare (EW) employed on aircrafts and sensor systems; 3) Developing procedures that support collecting data for the analyses of combat effectiveness, survivability, and specification compliance of assigned aircraft and associated systems;(4) Providing technical expertise to stakeholders, customers, and higher authorities on aviation program policies and instructions as associated with weapons system test and evaluation subjects; and 5) Functioning as a liaison with others to ensure that aviation program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
