You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPLIANCE & TRAVEL DIVISION of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience analyzing financial data and implementing legal and regulatory controls utilizing Department of Defense Financial Management Regulations (DoD FMR) and the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
- Experience providing oversight of travel operations and compliance, coordinating proper utilization of DTS, initiating Travel authorizations, and incorporating internal Travel staff procedures to accommodate afloat procedures.
- Experience auditing travel vouchers for accuracy, experience utilizing the Travel Debt Process, and utilizing the Joint Travel Regulations.
- Experience applying Financial Management, Financial Accountability, Audit Practices/Standards and readiness, Travel management (processing travel authorizations and vouchers) and travel procedures and processing to meet agency goals.
- Experience utilizing supervisory/management principles, practices, procedures, and regulations, to supervise, lead, motivate, and counsel employees.
