Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT (N8), FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND REPORTING BRANCH (N833) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience Supervising GS Personnel.
- Experience serving as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization;
- Experience directing and/or performing continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization;
- Experience providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution;
- Experience developing format and content to provide managers with various listings, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations;
- Experience ensuring financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports;
- Experience coordinating the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization;
- Experience directing the implementation of approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Experience mapping out business processes, implementing process improvements, and developing reporting tools to support the tracking of KPIs related to Navy Working Capital Fund and General Fund execution;
- Experience developing ADHOC reports, briefs, and PowerPoint presentations to Command leaders.
