Description:

You will serve as a COMPUTER OR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER, in the Mission Systems Group, Avionics Engineering Department, Core Avionics Engineering Division, Avionics Systems Development & Support Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 12/13 grade level or pay bandDP-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional COMPUTER OR ELECTRONICS performing duties such as: 1) Experienced with Radio frequency (RF) communications and network simulations; 2) Development, integration, support, and/or tools for: RF waveform models, RF effects, Antenna models, Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) simulation tools, visual and live data analysis and logging, CORE/Extensible Mobile Ad-hoc Network Emulator (EMANE); 3) Extensive knowledge of Modular and extensible simulation system architecture design; 4) Radio modeling of weather, fading, and antenna effects; 5) RF effects modeling and integration software and tools; 6) EMANE upgrades and support; 7) NGTS + EMANE integration; 8) Live simulation visualization tools; 9) Feasibility studies and white papers; 10) EMANE fidelity upgrades; 11) RF jammer modeling; 12) GPS and Link-16 modeling tools.
