This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for leading digital transformation and IT modernization, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs. Modernizing legacy systems, integrating new technologies, and creating scalable technology roadmaps. Evaluating technologies, ensuring seamless system integration, and staying updated on emerging trends to optimize the organization's architecture.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS 13 grade level in the Federal service:
- Leading the design and technical architecture of end-to-end solutions that drive digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives.
- Focus on cloud computing, API integration, ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management), or Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- Assessing and recommending strategies for modernizing legacy systems, ensuring seamless integration with new technologies, and enabling the transition from monolithic technical architectures to microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
- Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to propose modern upgrades that improve organizational efficiency.
- Working closely with business leaders, project managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
