You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC LEADER in the Mechanical Shop (930) Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:

- Ability to apply knowledge of work operations in leading mechanics concerning methods for jobs to be accomplished.
- Ability to lead journeyman mechanics through instruction and demonstration of proper work methods.
- Ability to apply knowledge of marine machinery mechanic systems and equipment.
- Ability to apply good knowledge of the various components, tanks, and systems associated with naval submarines and surface ships.
- Ability to understand operational theory, check-out procedures, and have knowledge and skill to perform marine machinery mechanic work.
- Ability to communicate changes to workers under your leadership.
