You will serve as a ASSISTANT PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (GENERAL) in the JOB READINESS CELL DIVISION, SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO PROVIDE PRODUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES:
*Controls the flow of work packages and materials to supervisors.
*Maintains necessary records and assists in writing, processing, and certifying paperwork in support of shipboard work.
*Receives and reviews job packages prepared by the Project Team Production Shop Planner or shop planning offices and distribute them to the proper supervisors.
*Determines if the material requirements and flow are appropriate for the described work.
*Identifies scheduling conflicts to the applicable Project Team personnel for resolution.
