You will serve as a ASSISTANT PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience managing and planning the production and testing for major work packages for ships.
- Experience with work that requires extensive knowledge and experience in shipyard work operations, trades and shop practices.
- Experience in the mastery of concepts, principles, and practices of nuclear planning and execution that enable the incumbent to serve as an authority on availability planning process, issues and concerns, expert functional knowledge of NAVSEA ship report project management concepts and techniques.
- Extensive experience with naval shipyard industrial operations and processes, management techniques and concepts, and equipment, facilities and services.
- Experience with planning, coordinating, evaluating and directing shipyard wide nuclear/non-nuclear work projects.
