Description:

You will serve as a DEPLOYMENT OPERATIONS MANAGER of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following 1) Possess expert knowledge of the CJCS Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Defense Transportation System (DTS), and other supporting operational planning and execution systems. This includes understanding regulatory, enforcement, and operational planning systems to manage theater deployments effectively. 2) Have in-depth knowledge of the unified/specified command structure, Service component organizations, operational requirements, and capabilities. This includes familiarity with the Defense Transportation System and its application to deployment operations in contingency and exercise scenarios. 3) Must demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including assigning work, evaluating performance, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with theater policies and procedures. This includes supervising a diverse team of contractors, reserve officers, civil service personnel, and active-duty noncommissioned officers. 4) Requires a deep, practical understanding of planning and execution for military operations, including contingencies and combat situations.
