This position is in the DoD Office of Inspector General, Office of the Chief Information Officer. The incumbent is an IT specialist that oversees the Data & Information Management Directorate that provides data strategy and architecture, business intelligence, records management, and information governance. The incumbent will serve as the Chief Data Officer overseeing the agency's data management services ensuring quality, traceability, timeliness, usability, and cost effectiveness.Requirements:

Basic Requirements: GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

- Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Specialized Experience: You must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-14 level in the federal service or at an equivalent level. Specialized Experience is defined as demonstrated experience performing the following duties:- Managing and leading data management teams.
- Managing and leading business intelligence teams.
- Managing and leading records management teams.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of data and analytics governance best practices.
