Requirements:

Applicants will be assessed against Qualification Requirements (i.e. education, language(s), certification(s), experience etc.). Applicants will also be assessed on their responses to the Mandatory Assessment Factors, which are directly related to the position being filled and are essential for successful job performance. ASSESSMENT FACTORS:

1. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the full intelligence cycle, and broad experience in a wide variety of intelligence and production arenas in support of defense intelligence customers.

2. Demonstrates expert knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) analytic policies and instructions, tradecraft standards, defense intelligence production processes, and familiarity with their application in support of defense intelligence consumers.

3. Demonstrates experience working with Combatant Commands (CCMD) and theater level intelligence organizations. Possesses in-depth knowledge of CCMD, sub-unified command, and/or Joint Intelligence Operation Center organizations and missions.

4. Demonstrates ability to effectively lead discussions and/or negotiations through highly developed verbal and written communication skills using leadership techniques rather than managerial authorities. Ability to act as a Command representative and present persuasive proposals and briefings at very senior levels.

5. Demonstrated experience identifying intelligence requirements and developing strategies, plans, and programs to address those requirements. Ability to adapt or develop new complex analytic strategies to resolve knowledge gaps. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage polices and plans to meet emerging requirements or improve existing processes.

6. Possesses direct knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture and language; experience residing in or conducting visits to China and/or Taiwan.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

1. Demonstrates experience working across national level defense organizations, including OSD, JCS, Service Chiefs, Combatant Command National Security Staff, Congressional, and other senior consumers.

2. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of advanced analytics, AI/ML opportunities, and incorporation of these new tools into all-source analysis and tradecraft.

3. Successful completion of PACE and CDASA I certification.
