Description:

The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides operations support services and business solutions to the community of 10,000 House Members, Officers and staff.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Experience and/or Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience serving as an Data Analyst or Financial Analyst.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in accounting, accounts payable, financial management, and accounts receivable, with heavy concentration in program management and data analytics.
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Finance, Accounting, or business related field. Specialized experience can be substituted.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise in PeopleSoft accounting modules.
  • Experience with Coupa financial system.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability (KSA) and Competency Requirements:

  • Strong command of Excel for tool development and performance metric management.
  • Ability to analyze, reconcile, interpret, and present data, ensuring data integrity.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Innovation, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and ability to prepare various financial reports.
  • Ability to exhibit good judgment in organizing work and setting priorities.
