You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, AIR PLATFORM SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.***This position has a control point of GS-14 Step 10. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $143,913 - $187,093
Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DP-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing authoritative systems engineering or senior-level engineering technical domain input and advice to systems engineering and to the program management leadership; 2) Leading the development and incorporation of Systems Engineering work products or technical domain work products required to satisfy, complement and inform the System Acquisition program management process milestones, artifacts, strategic planning, risk characterization and decision making on major weapon systems; 3) Leading or significantly mastering the incorporation and use of the various and broad resources to support engineering development, planning and testing for assigned systems; and 4) Leading engineers, technical, acquisition, and sustainment support personnel and teams.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
