Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROJECT WORK INTEGRATION SUPERINTENDENT in the Office of Operations Manager (300.1), Operations Department (300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience with ship repair, project management fundamental, planning, integration, scheduling, and execution strategics.
- Experience in naval shipyard operations, production, management techniques and concepts.
- Experience utilizing location, capacity, capability, and availability of facilities and services of naval industry.
- Experience with ship drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Experience reviewing contractor engineering specifications involving multiple engineering disciplines.
- Experience with ships, shipboard systems, interrelationships between ship systems, and their operating requirements.
- Experience with government contracting, including both award and administration of contracts that directly support shipyard work.
