Requirements:

In addition to the Basic Requirements ( see Education section ), in order to qualify for the INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST, GS-0690-12 position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

* Experience utilizing industrial hygiene concepts, principles, and practices applicable to the full range of occupational health concerned with repair/overhaul of ships and other related industrial activities.
* Experience recognizing and evaluating health hazards to incorporate adequate health hazard controls into work procedures for work that impacts on the health and efficiency of employees.
* Experience providing the full range of duties and serving as subject matter expert for the implementation of Industrial Hygiene programs practices.
* Experience administering occupational safety and health programs and maintaining qualifications in the performance of industrial hygiene duties such as lead and asbestos bulk sampling.
