In addition to the Basic Requirements ( see Education section ), in order to qualify for the INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST, GS-0690-11 position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:* Experience providing industrial hygiene administrative and work practice and controls applicable to industrial activities.
* Experience upholding industrial hygiene principles and practices applicable to full range of occupational health in industrial activities.
* Experience performing lead and asbestos bulk sampling.
* Experience evaluating occupational and safety health program effectiveness.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience providing assistance with industrial hygiene administrative and work practice controls applicable to industrial activities; and
* Experience demonstrating industrial hygiene principles and practices applicable to occupational health in industrial activities.
* Experience conducting workplace monitoring, bulk sampling, and analysis as part of the industrial hygiene walk through surveys.
