Description:

You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Cybersecurity Engineering Branch; Intelligence & Cyber Technology Division of NAVSURFWARCENACT DAM NECK VA.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14.

This position is salary capped at GS-13, Step 10 (currently $140,426). See "Additional Information" section.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Information Technology (IT) work to coordinate or evaluate IT cybersecurity/information assurance policies, procedures, or measures to ensure they are correctly applied to IT systems, software, or networks. Examples of specialized experience may include: analyzing, assessing, and documenting cyber security/information assurance capabilities and services; establishing compliance with cyber security/information assurance requirements; identifying vulnerabilities in information technology systems, software, or networks; ensuring networks are certified and accredited for information security.
