This position is located in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program, Fleet Readiness Department in the Fitness/Sports and Deployed Support Department. The purpose of this position is to assist the Fitness Director to provide fitness training and education at the installation serviced. This position is located **JEBLC/FT. STORY ROCKWELL HALL GYM.**Requirements:

A qualified candidate possess the following:- Position requires a Certified Instructor/ Trainer certificate and have the ability to get certified as a Navy Exercise Leader in order to teach Command Fitness Leader Course. Must possess a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certificate and First Aid certificate.
- Education: Major study - general recreation, or one of the appropriate fields of recreation such as outdoor recreation; recreation and parks leadership; wild land recreation management; natural resources recreation; youth recreation; public, urban, or community recreation; special populations recreation (e.g., senior citizens, institutional, etc.); or physical education.
- At least two years of documented experience that demonstrates the ability to apply the principles of one or more specialty areas of recreation. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: specific training and understanding of all forms of exercise, and nutrition and wellness, manage fitness and associated programs, wide range of fitness equipment including resistance and/or selectorized machines, computerized cardiovascular equipment and free weights.
