Description:

You will serve as a Supervisory Electronics Engineer in the Fleet Support Team Engineering Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

(1) Utilizing knowledge and skill applying the advanced theories, concepts, principles, standards, and methods practiced in the science of electronics engineering; (2) Leading and/or managing technical aircraft (i.e. E-2/C-2 ) electronics projects individually or as a team member; (3) Assessing the complexity of a project and delegating duties as needed to ensure products are delivered within prescribed timelines; (4) Analyzing engineering issues and utilizing experienced judgment to solve a variety of highly complex technical problems; (5) Utilizing aircraft and avionics/electrical systems knowledge to anticipate potential complications that technical changes may have on assigned weapon system programs and ensuring timely integration and clear communication with involved entities; (6) Providing expert technical electronics engineering advice and guidance on a wide variety of electronic issues; and (7) Demonstrating knowledge of the budgetary/fiscal process and responsibilities within the Navy/DoD as they relate to In-Service Engineering (ISE) planning, execution, and reporting.
