Description:
You will serve as a Supervisory General Engineer as the site director for the Fleet Support Team (FST) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:(1) Directing work that has significant impact on national defense as well as on aircraft and systems maintenance/acquisition to support an agency; (2) Exercising supervisory responsibilities and day-to-day technical oversight of engineering and logistics positions, as well as providing technical support and making final decisions for personnel actions; (3) Leading and managing a large, complex organization which provides total life cycle support to Naval Aviation and Weapons Systems utilizing a wide range of engineering, logistics, program management and related technical disciplines to ensure the provision of quality personnel through recruitment, training, and certification; (4) Managing the development of policy changes in response to changes in levels of appropriations along with monitoring financial data, evaluating budget submissions, and coordinating development of financial reports; and (5) Serving as a liaison within aviation, technical, and industrial communities for in-service issues, support to other military services, foreign military services, and external customers.
