Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Serve as a police officer mentor/Instructor by conducting duties as Field Training Officer, providing guidance on law enforcement policies and procedures to team members; 2) Perform law enforcement duties to include collect evidence, conduct searches, administer first aid, and 3) Enforce laws to protect personnel and property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
