You will serve as a General Engineer in the NAWCAD SE & ALRE Group of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Applying system engineering concepts, principles, and practices and how it relates to system design, operation, and support; requirements management, including identification, validation, and verification; risk management process; and system testing/verification processes and requirements; 2) Planning and coordinating major technical efforts associated with the Horizon Reference System (HRS) Next and other various Visual Landing Aids Systems; 3) Performing Systems Engineering functional elements associated with the HRS Next and other various Visual Landing Aids Systems such as Risk Management and Requirements Management, which includes requirement identification, validation, and verification; 4) Performing Mechanical, Electronic, and/or Materials Engineering functional elements associated with HRS Next and other various Visual Landing Aids Systems, including design and development, test and evaluation, manufacture, and procurement; 5) Providing technical direction to other engineers, field representatives, contractors and original equipment manufacturers, and fleet operators and maintainers.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
