Description:
You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist at the GG-13 grade level in the Chief Human Capital Office, Defense Civilian Intelligence (DCIPS) Program Office, charged with full technical responsibility for one or more Department of the Navy (DON) DCIPS-wide civilian human resources (HR) programs/project assignments.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:- Monitoring and reviewing assigned programs/areas and develops appropriate policies, procedures, guidance, and program standards.
- Initiating special studies, pilot programs, or other actions and follows-up to assure that the organization maintains progressive personnel support.
- Providing policy, procedures, advice, and assistance to employees and managers on filing injury compensation forms, continuation of pay, medical certification, and compensation of pay.
- Composing and drafting letters for management to deal with appropriate disciplinary actions, poor performance and adverse actions, in accordance with organizational guidance/procedures.
- Providing clear and concise written proposal letters on disciplinary/adverse actions for management and legal review.
