You will serve as a Security Specialist within NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5/10) or pay band (NO-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1) Managing various types of special access programs utilizing demonstrated knowledge of appropriate security requirements and procedures; 2) Advising personnel in completing detailed questionnaires regarding personal information utilizing required personnel security procedures and adjudication guidelines; 3) Providing guidance in the construction of areas to meet physical security requirements specified by agencies; and 4) Communicating effectively both orally and in writing.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
