You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER in the TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (Code 349) of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.Requirements:
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. The ND-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13. The salary ranges shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.
TO QUALIFY FOR THE ND-05 POSITION :
In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalency) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: as a professional Engineer or Scientist managing technical projects or financial deliverables to apply systems engineering principles on Navy Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems or similar complex communication systems for support of customer demands while investigating and resolving emergent issues. Example of qualifying experience: Demonstrating advanced experience as a Principal Investigator with technical project and financial management experience.

In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-9 through 11 equivalency) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: as a professional Engineer or Scientist applying systems engineering principles to Navy Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems or similar communication systems for support of technical projects and meeting customer demands. Example of qualifying experience: Demonstrating advanced experience as a Principal Investigator with technical project and financial management experience.
