You will serve as a Computer Engineer in the Common ATE/TPS Branch, Support Equipment (SE) Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. You will support Software Support Activities (SSAs) and Automatic Test System (ATS) R&D programs using state-of-the-art technologies.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Providing mentoring and guidance to other engineers and scientists for software development and maintenance for programs that span the range of Avionics Common Support Equipment (CSE) and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE); 2) Developing proposals and prototypes for Research and Development efforts related to improving Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Test Program Set (TPS) efficiency, especially related to the CASS Family of Testers, through the implementation of state of the art technologies such as Machine Learning; 3) Participating in industry standard development for ATS applications, such as prognostics and data definitions to support Automatic Test System (ATS) interoperability; 4) Performing reviews and analyses of contractor software design, source code, and documentation for CSE and PSE, and participates in Software Support Activities (SSA) for the delivered products; 5) Maintaining a cyber-safe environment for software systems, to minimize cybersecurity risks.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
