ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Description:

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TEHCNICAL SPECIALIST in the USW WPNS VEH & DEFENSE SYS DEPT, BUSINESS OPERATIONS OFFICE of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.

The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.

Requirements:

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

For the NT-05 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying federal acquisition regulations (such as FAR/DFARS) to post-award contract administration, managing multiple contract actions and associated data, and training or mentoring personnel on procurement processes Applying federal acquisition regulations (such as FAR/DFARS) to post-award contract administration, managing multiple contract actions and associated data, and training or mentoring personnel on procurement processes.

For the NT-04 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with the application of federal acquisition regulations (such as FAR/DFARS) in a procurement environment, supporting the management of contract actions and tracking associated data, and supporting the roles and responsibilities of other contracting personnel
