You will serve as an DMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Department Contracts Manager (code 15) of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Requirements:
NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NT-03 (GS- 9/10 equivalency) pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector resolving current purchasing challenges and plan future procurement strategies by partnering with the Contracts department, to ensure the Sensors and Sonar Systems Department is always equipped for its mission.NT-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NT-04 (GS- 11/12 equivalency) pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector resolving current purchasing challenges and plan future procurement strategies by partnering with the Contracts department, related to ongoing commercial procurement activities for the Sensors and Sonar Systems Department.
