To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS- 14 grade level in the federal or private sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.

Specialized experience may include the following:
- Knowledge of program and organization analysis principles, methods, practices and techniques; analytical methods; and interpersonal relations practices.
- Knowledge of developing new methods and approaches in planning, integrating, and evaluating programs for the agency.
- Skill in advising other specialists in and outside of agency, as well as top managers and decision-makers on issues of developing, communicating, or enhancing program matters involving interaction with all of the agency's personnel, both nationally and internationally.
- Skill in interpreting and implementing financial regulatory directives related to financial management.
- Knowledge of integrating strategic business plans.
- Knowledge of managerial and supervisory techniques sufficient to enable to successfully define activities, tasking responsibilities and timing of events.
