THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC LEADER, Position Description Number D0085000 and is part of the CO 140th MXS, National Guard.
This position is located in the Pneudraulic Function of Aerospace Systems.
Requirements:
Military Grades : E-61. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

Must have at least 18 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following :
Experience or training which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
Experience in fabricating fuel, oil and vacuum hose lines.
Experience in servicing, maintaining, disassembling assembling, repairing and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and overhauling pneudraulic accessories by disassembling, cleaning part and examining parts.
Experience in diagnosing trouble and determining remedies.
Experience in repairing, rebuilding and overhauling major systems of ground equipment and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Experience in mechanical repairs using hand tools and test equipment.
Experience that demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications and publications.
Must have experience in the following:
Experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and lead the work of others in fields directly related the repair function of this occupational series.
Must have the ability to perform administrative functions; to read and interpret a variety of technical publications used in the repair of supported equipment.
Relocation and Recruitment Incentives Eligibility:
- Recruitment- Employee newly appointedto a position or following a break in service of at least 90 days.
- Relocation- Current employee who relocates to accept a position in a new geographic area. If you are eligible for a relocation incentive, the employee must have an appraisal from the prior with that's a 3 or higher.
Payments: Up to 25% of the annual rate of basic pay as of the beginning of the service period (includes locality pay/special rate supplement) multiplied by number of years (and fractions) covered by the service agreement. Subject to availability of funds and must be approved by TAG.
