THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEM MECHANIC, Position Description Number D0097000 and is part of the CO 140th MXS, National Guard.

This technician position serves as a Pneudraulic Svstem Mechanic within a fuel systems shop responsible for inspection, repair and maintenance of aircraft fuel cells, water injection, entidetonant (ADI), and inflight refueling systems.

Requirements:

Military Grades : E-4 thru E-5

1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

You will be immediately disqualified if you fail to include specialized experience in your resume.

Must have at least 18 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Experience which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
2. Experience in fabricating fuel, oil and vacuum hose lines.
3. Experience in servicing, maintaining, disassembling assembling, repairing and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
4. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and overhauling pneudraulic accessories by disassembling, cleaning part and examining parts.
5. Experience in diagnosing trouble and determining remedies.
6. Experience in repairing, rebuilding and overhauling major systems of ground equipment and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
7. Experience in mechanical repairs using hand tools and test equipment.
8. Experience that demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications and publications.

Relocation and Recruitment Incentives Eligibility:

  • Recruitment- Employee newly appointedto a position or following a break in service of at least 90 days.
  • Relocation- Current employee who relocates to accept a position in a new geographic area. If you are eligible for a relocation incentive, the employee must have an appraisal from the prior with that's a 3 or higher.

Payments: Up to 25% of the annual rate of basic pay as of the beginning of the service period (includes locality pay/special rate supplement) multiplied by number of years (and fractions) covered by the service agreement. Subject to availability of funds and must be approved by TAG.
