Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Administrative and Industrial Services Branch (Code 1102.2), Executive Support Office (Code 1100), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience supervising a team of employees, utilizing regulations, policies, and procedures for shipyard training and functions through planning and assigning work to ensure quality and timely completion of work through knowledge of administrative procedures.
  • Experience coordinating all personnel actions related primarily to internal process for external recruitment, merit promotions, and the development of Superior Qualification Letters (SQLs) and other matters relating to Shipyard programs.
  • Experience analyzing and measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of substantive administrative and technical programs through qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Experience utilizing oral and written communications to effectively collaborate, and computer systems such as DCPDS, TWMS, SUPDSK and SharePoint related to administrative work performed.
  • Experience problem solving in a timely manner and understanding how decisions and choices affect the long-term visibility and overall effectiveness of the organization.
