Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the Propulsion Plant Machinery & Planning Yard (Code 266), MechanicalEngineering and Planning Division (Code 260), Office o f Chief Engineer (Code 240), Engineering and Planning Department (200), ofNORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience applying mechanical engineering concepts, principles, methods, precedents and techniques as it pertains to Naval main propulsion machinery, auxiliary machinery, and related mechanical system
- Experience in administrative supervisory functions, such as making plans, assigning work, setting objectives, and policy and procedure development.
- Experience in temporary service systems, and programs such as Level I, and Steam Plan Cleanliness.
- Experience in design and technical knowledge of engineering aspects as it relates to Nuclear Propulsion Plant Maintenance and Construction.
