You will serve as either a COMPUTER ENGINEER, COMPUTER SCIENTIST, or DATA SCIENTIST in the DIGITAL ANALYTICS INFRASTRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT (DAiTA) GROUP, INTEGRATED BATTLESPACE SIMULATION AND TEST (IBST) DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring effective configuration management practices, including version control, documentation, and change tracking, maintaining the integrity and traceability of software systems; 2) Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver innovative solutions that meet organizational goals; 3) A thorough understanding of software engineering best practices including debugging, testing, version control, and agile development methodologies; 4) Designing and developing software tools that support data analysis and visualization, ensuring usability, reliability, and performance; and 5) Providing technical expertise to recover, analyze, and modernize legacy software systems, converting them into efficient, maintainable, and scalable modern code.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
