This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command, Transportation Command. The incumbent will be responsible for Serving as an IT Contract Manager within the USTRANSCOM Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber Systems Directorate. Analyzes and assesses product and service contracts to provide authoritative advice and assistance on complex, controversial, and precedent setting program requirement matters.Requirements:
You may qualify at the NH-03 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
- Creating and modifying contracts to meet mission objectives
- Analyzing and assessing contract performance
- Preparing reports and briefing executive leadership
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
