Description:
As a Senior Advisor with OPM, you will serve as a principal advisor to senior leadership within Healthcare and Insurance, providing analysis, recommendations, and oversight for high-priority policy, legislative, and operational initiatives, including implementation of the Postal Service Reform Act.Requirements:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service that includes:
- Interpreting and applying regulations governing federal benefits programs (FEDVIP, FEGLI, FLTCIP, FSAFEDS)
- Analyzing the development of an operating plan outlining the audit resolution and compliance activities
- Providing advisory services to senior officials on policy, program, or operational issues.
- Leading or coordinating complex projects or initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders.
- Analyzing legislation, regulations, or policy proposals and developing recommendations.
- Preparing written products such as policy papers, reports, or briefings for top leadership.
