GS-15 : You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
- Developing or implementing agency-wide anti-fraud or national security goals, objectives, policies, laws, regulations, and operating procedures relating to refugee or asylum immigration benefits;
- Providing technical advice or administrative supervision to a staff of officers engaged in programs applying the Immigration and Naturalization Act (e.g. Adjudications, Inspections, Investigations, and Border Protection);
- Providing briefings to senior level officials, law enforcement partners, other government officials, or congressional offices on the current status of initiatives related to immigration programs; and
- Serving as a liaison and/or participating in inter- and/or intra-agency meetings, discussions, and work groups to enhance fraud detection, national security, public safety, or other integrity-related goals and objectives with the RAIO directorate programs (e.g. other government offices, law enforcement agencies, intelligence communities, Department of State, or Department of Justice).
