The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/05/2026.Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/05/2026.

You must have experience performing the following duties:
- Serving as a consultant and advising management on how to resolve issues that significantly impact various programs administering the Immigration and Nationality Act;
- Applying and understanding immigration laws, regulations, and policies to develop theories and to solve problems and provide expert analysis and advice on complex program issues;
- Managing special projects or programs that have a broad impact on agency operations;
- Implementing new initiatives and projects to strengthen, facilitate, and integrate internal and external programs;
- Participating in special projects and initiatives that have high priority for senior-level management; AND
- Coordinating input to directing policy development or legal guidance on complex immigration issues.
