THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.DUTY LOCATION : 103d Force Support Squadron (FSS), East Granby, CT
AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION:
- Area I: All On Board Federal Employees (T5), Tenure 0,1,2,3 within the CTNG with U.S. citizenship.
- Area II: All On Board Federal Dual-Status Military Technicians (T32), Tenure 0,1,2,3 within the CTNG with U.S. citizenship.
- Area III: All current and former members of the CTNG with U.S. citizenship.
Requirements:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates your ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position?SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume and any other supporting documentation you wish to provide must clearly substantiate you currently possess 1 Year of specialized experience in the following:
- Experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-06).
- Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of, and skill in applying a comprehensive body of military human resources rules, guidelines, and instructions to provide technical support in the assigned program area and to research, study and analyze all aspects of the assigned military function(s).
- Ability to analyze information, to determine it's relevance, and to provide options to management/supervisors/military members regarding appropriate course of action.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Skill and judgment as well as knowledge of the mission of the wing and other units serviced.
