THIS IS A TITLE 32 DUAL STATUS POSITIONDUTY LOCATION: 103d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (103d AMXS), East Granby, CT
AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION:
Area 1: All currently employed full-time permanent and indefinite personnel, assigned to the 103d MXG of the Connecticut Air National Guard.
Requirements:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of equipment maintenance work, or skill in reading engineering drawings and specifications, using test instruments, making computations, and keeping records. Experience using computer and automation systems.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume and any other supporting documentation you wish to provide must clearly substantiate you currently possess 36 months of specialized experience in the following:
- Experience in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in planning assignments.
- Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc.
- Experience in determination of resource needs, allocation of resources, and budgeting/funding needs.
- Experience in human resources management policy matters affecting the entire organization, with personnel actions affecting key employees to include experience coordinating work forces and resources and negotiating with management or clients concerning problems.
- Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed.
- Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to coordinate work.
- Ability to plan and coordinate work of frequently changing work assignments.
- Ability to develop, plan, and coordinate complex work assignments.
- Knowledge of an organization that produces a number of services or end products.
- Ability to determine deadlines and schedule work for an organization.
- Ability to coordinate scheduling between customers and producers.
- Ability to follow rigid requirements established by another source.
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT: All applications will be considered regardless of Branch/AOC/FA/AFSC. Incumbent will be required to be assigned to compatible military position within 1 year of selection. The selected individual may be required to attend formal technician school training.
