Description:

Incumbent serves as the Navy Motion Picture Service (NMPS) Program Manager, responsible for providing a worldwide entertainment movie program service. The purpose of this position is to initiate and plan continued development, administration and operation of the NMPS program. The incumbent provides technical direction and guidance, and assessment of compliance with applicable Department of War (DoW) and Department of Navy (DON) instructions and policies.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • 5 or more years of specialized experience with the administration, management, and financial practices of movie program operations in the military or private sector settings.
A qualified candidate also possesses the following:
  • Knowledge of the goals, principles and techniques in the administration, management and financial practices of movie program operations in military or private sector settings.
  • Knowledge of appropriate program policies and regulations covering all areas of applicable administrative and operational policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of CNIC's organizational structure, functions, and mission.
  • Ability to interpret complex instructions, directives, and correspondence and apply them to specific situations.
  • Knowledge of movie program operations.
  • Knowledge of and skill in financial management, including budgeting, cost and profitability analysis, internal controls, inventory management, procurement, and facility management.
  • Skill in applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative measures and indicators for the assessment, restructuring and improvement of complex operations.
  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to make presentations to effectively represent the organization on pertinent issues.
  • Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties.
