Description:

This position is located within the Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General (DoD OIG), Deputy Inspector General for Evaluations (DIG-EVAL), Intelligence Division.

Requirements:

Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-12 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service.
For entry at the GS-13 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience:
For entry at the GS-12 level you must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of GS-11. Specialized experience is defined as: Specialized Experience is defined as: Demonstrates experience in planning and conducting audits, evaluations, inspections, or oversight; Representing the agency at conduction intergovernmental operations and liaison activities to accomplish project objectives such as planning, execution, and reporting. Reviews and analyses data/reports from various automated systems and other sources to track the trends, effectiveness, and recommends needed improvements to procedures and processes. Writes and communicates intelligence reports or analysis.

For entry at the GS-13 level you must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of GS-12. Specialized experience is defined as: Expertise in planning and conducting audits, evaluations, inspections or oversight; Expertise in communicating and collaborating with external and internal Intelligence agencies or personnel to conduct strategic planning to accomplish Intelligence project objectives, execution, and reporting. Reviews and analyses data/reports from various automated systems and other sources to track the trends, effectiveness, and recommends needed improvements to procedures and processes. Experience reviewing and applying intelligence policy. Writes and communicates intelligence.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience.

Qualification and time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants who have held a non-temporary General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must meet the time-in-grade restriction.
