You will serve as a LEAD GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS DIRECTORATE (N4), SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT DIVISION (N48), REQUIREMENTS PROCESSING (N481) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience serving as the Technical Point of Contact by coordinating contract support services, evaluating contractor performance, and providing input to performance reports, etc.
- Experience with monitoring order fulfillment processes from commercial vendors, the federal supply system, and other Government activities, ensuring order fulfillment meets customer delivery/destination requirements.
- Experience updating order status and reporting within internal property systems and supporting material custody systems.
- Experience analyzing internal operations and current and potential workloads, existing workflow and procedures to evaluate efficiency and recommending changes as required.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
