This vacancy is for a GS-0201-9, Lead Human Resources Specialist (Military) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, PPC ADVANCEMENTS BRANCH in TOPEKA, Kansas.Requirements:
To qualify at the GS- 09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.
- Ensuring the timely completion of administrative tasks, processing a variety of personnel actions or maintaining office-wide tracking systems.
- Conducting informal performance critiques, identifying errors in work products, or providing constructive feedback to improve accuracy.
- Performing detailed reviews and preliminary analyses of records, identifying discrepancies, conducting peer-reviews or spot checking work.
- Assisting in the review and application of human resources policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines such as researching regulations to answer routine inquiries or identifying key changes in revised directives.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of administrative or human resources projects or developing basic action plans and schedules to track routine project tasks.
Or
Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
Or
2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree;
Or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
