You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the ENGINEERING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT, ENGINEERING DIVISION of Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Bangor, WA.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of professional specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing technical direction and oversight by planning and coordinating mechanical engineering projects to support the successful procurement and upgrade of weight handling equipment.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
