MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR

Description:

You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.

I have the ability to perform the full range of tasks, as demonstrated though experience working under normal supervision, including transport material throughout public roads/highways for long or short hauls on routine basis; Use pre-operational inspection checklist to ensure fuel supply and other conditions; assist in receiving , storing, assembling for issue and delivery by motor vehicle of a variety of supplies, material and equipment; loads and unloads trucks/trailers with material observing safe handling procedures using manual or mechanical means and delivers material to sites by the most expeditious route, observing all traffic laws and regulations; identify proper weight distribution requirements according to conveyance to prevent damage during transport; operate gasoline and/or electric forklifts. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
