THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist (Title 5) (Temporary Promotion Not to Exceed One Year), Position Description Number T5722P01 and is part of the VA 192 LRS, National Guard.

WHO CAN APPLY :
GROUP A - All On Board Federal National Guard Employees within Virginia National Guard.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Applicant must have experience supervising staff performing operational support.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:

1. Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions.
2. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system.
3. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues.
4. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
