Description:

You will serve as a Logistics management Specialist in the Execution and Shipyard Assessment Branch (100TO.12), Strategic Transformation Division (100TO.1), Transformation Office (100TO) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience applying principles, theories, and methodologies of program analysis.
  • Experience effectively piloting and implementing successful change management program strategy to a transformation initiative.
  • Knowledge of production, operations, or support maintenance and business processes and detailed knowledge of the shipyard structure and the administrative and organizational requirements of all phases of the manufacturing and repair of naval ships and components.
  • Experience applying, a comprehensive range of principles, theories, concepts, and practices applicable to the various trades and laboring occupations performed by the Production Resources, Operations or other Support Departments.
  • Experience communicating, both oral and written, to inform, advise, persuade, and defend controversial actions/policy decisions in meetings and conferences with high-level government and industry partners.
